Our customers are very important to us and we want you to be completely satisfied with our service, however, we do have a few rules in place to keep things running smoothly:


You are paying for the rental of yard card and celebration signs at a single family home.  All signs are owned by Signs of Happiness and not available for purchase.  Missing or damaged lawn display items will be billed back to the customer at replacement cost- on average $25 per sign.  Please contact us directly for rentals/set ups at townhouses, condos or businesses.  Setups at theses locations may require a security deposit.  All security deposits will be refunded, minus a $5 processing fee, once the rental is picked up and fully accounted for.  



We will typically deliver and pickup our large signs after sunrise, depending on the season between 6-11am.  If this is a gift make sure to let homeowners know we will be setting up in their yard. We respectfully reserve the right to decline a delivery area that we feel may be unsafe for our signs or our delivery people. This is rare, and we will contact you if this situation arises.  


Signs of Happiness provides FREE delivery to Fairfield, Norwalk, Southport, Weston & Westport. There is a $10 travel surcharge for Easton and Wilton. There is a $15 travel surcharge for Darien and New Caanan. There is a $20 travel surcharge for Stamford. There is a $25 travel surcharge for Cos Cob, Old Greenwich, Riverside & Trumbull. There is a $30 travel surcharge for Greenwich. These fees will be billed separately. Please contact us for availability in other areas before booking.



We will design the perfect display for your space.  Our staff will choose accent pieces and letters based on the information provided by YOU! We do our best to choose items reflecting the interests/hobbies/colors listed on the order form. Specific accents and placement of individual letters are at the discretion of Signs of Happiness' staff members. Once placed, repositioning or removal of letters is prohibited. If you would like the display moved to a different location in your yard, please call and we will assist you. A set-up fee may apply.  

Our business is to make people happy. That said, please do not “re-arrange” the letters on our signs. The verbiage on all signs will be agreed upon by us prior to the processing of your order.

We may place a sign in the yard with our company name, phone number and web address. This sign is lets the neighbors know how to find us to order a display, so please do not move or hide it.


We really appreciate you taking good care of our signs so others can soon enjoy them too!  


We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration. However, please DO NOT remove, relocate or pull the signs from the ground.  If you need your display taken down early, please give us a call and we will gladly come and get them.


For the safety of everyone, especially children and animals, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greetings display. We will not be held liable for injuries or damage due to children, adults or animals playing on or near our yard sign displays.

Please DO NOT attach balloons to the signs as they can pop and melt on the signs causing damage, especially on warm summer days.



If you have a LAWN CREW coming, please arrange for them to come BEFORE we set up.  Mowers and weed eaters can ruin the signs.  Please let your lawn crew know that they many not move the signs.  



Signs of Happiness and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the set-up or removal of any rental.


We define "One Day Rental" as from set-up until sunset.  Our standard practice is to pick up the sign the following morning, however we will pick up after sunset in the case of inclement weather.  Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, hurricanes, heavy rain or snow, ice (severe frozen yard), high wind and/or anything else that would put us or our lawn display in harm's way. 


If you must cancel your booking, you can choose to receive 1/2 of your booking rate as a refund, or you may leave the full amount on credit for future booking date, based on our availability.  If you place an order that is outside our service area or guidelines as stated above, we will refund your purchase minus a $5 processing fee. 


In the event of inclement weather, we may not be able to set up any lawn displays.  We will only set up a display if we believe you can enjoy it for the full day during daylight hours. Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, hurricanes, heavy rain or snow, ice (severe frozen yard), high wind and/or anything else that would put us or our lawn display in harm's way. If we are unable to set up due to unforeseen events, we will either rebook you or provide a full refund.  


No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address.


No refunds will be given if the homeowner/giftee calls us and wants the lawn sign rental removed early.

Every attempt will be made to make sure you are completely satisfied. We want you to be a repeat customer and to tell all of your friends about us!


By placing an order/booking with Signs of Happiness, you agree to all policies stated above.



Signs of Happiness respects your privacy. We do not sell our clients’ personal information to third parties. We may occasionally contact you to share information about our products and special discounts, but you can always opt out if you prefer.
